This is my third year participating in the Books in the Freezer Horror Reading Challenge, and once again, it was a ton of fun. BITF is one of my anticipated bi-weekly podcast listens and always delivers with a variety of entertaining, horror-centric topics and a range of phenomenal guests that keep me engaged and adding a host of titles to my (already out of control) TBR. This year’s reading challenge prompts and my selections for each are included below; for a larger view, click on each image.

- Historical Fiction Horror: The Dismembered by Jonathan Janz

Of my chosen titles, my favorites were Eynhallow, Wakenhyrst, Cold Moon Over Babylon, Black Sheep, Things We Lost in the Fire, and Free Burn, and pretty much every book I read was freezer-worthy in at least one aspect or more, making this another awesome and successful experience!
Are you participating in any horror (or other) reading challenges this year? If so, what new or unexpected favorites have you discovered along the way?
